Alongside research, I've spent six years teaching mathematics, organizing olympiads, and running outreach programs for students across Bangladesh — work I care about as much as anything in a lab.
Six years with the Dinajpur Math Club
Dinajpur Math Club
Senior teacher across the Rangpur division, organizing the Bangladesh Mathematics Olympiad (BdMO), Bangladesh Physics Olympiad (BdPhO), programming and robotics camps, and the KL-YES study-abroad program. For six years, taught students all core math topics free of charge every Friday.
Mathematical Olympiad Handbook (Bangla)
Wrote a 160-page olympiad-preparation book for A-level students in Bengali, covering combinatorics, algebra, geometry, and number theory with roughly 96 practice problems (see Publications).
National Mathematics Olympiad
Runner-up (2nd place) as a participant in 2012; now an academic team member and organizer, ensuring fair evaluation and engaging competition experiences for young mathematicians.
Physics Olympiad
Placed 7th as a participant in 2014; now a volunteer organizer, evaluating test exams and helping run the competition.
Programming, leadership & youth outreach
BdOSN Hello / Girls’ Programming Camp
Traveled to multiple districts promoting programming skills for teenage girls, working with BdOSN toward greater representation of women in computer science.
British Council Kano Coding Club
2019–2020: taught 1,000+ students the fundamentals of programming and micro:bit technology every Saturday.
Math, Science & ICT Tutor
Conducted small-group instruction in mathematics, physics, and ICT, focused on building strong fundamentals.
BYLC Youth Leadership Summit
Three-day intensive leadership training in critical thinking and social problem-solving, run by the Bangladesh Youth Leadership Centre.
NYLC Youth Leadership Summit
One-day intensive leadership training organized by the National Youth Leadership Centre / English Olympiad.
SAVE – HSTU Chapter
Contributed to a youth platform promoting tolerance, diversity, and peace, with initiatives supporting women and girls online.
K-L YES Study Abroad Program
Organized and anchored the exchange-program event: audience engagement, logistics, cultural events, and judge coordination.
World Orphan’s Day & AHC Foundation
Volunteered with orphaned and street children through Arise Help for Child Foundation, supporting education, meals, and hygiene programs.
Science Fair (2017–2020)
Represented the Dinajpur Math Club at science fairs, earning first prizes multiple times.
Other interests
3D Design (Blender)
Learned 3D modeling, texturing, and sculpting during the COVID-19 period, later applying it to visualize mathematical and physical concepts.
English Debate Organizing
Organized an English debate workshop, managing logistics, teams, and judging.
Chess
An active Lichess player — chess sharpens problem-solving and strategic thinking outside of research.
