Degrees
M.Sc., Acoustic & Vibration Engineering
Fully-funded, two-year joint master across three countries, with a thesis placement at Hahn‑Schickard, Germany. CGPA 7.7.
B.Sc. (Honours), Mathematics
CGPA 3.69/4.00. Received a Dean's Award. Research foundation in nonlinear PDEs and fractional calculus, alongside six years of olympiad teaching and organizing.
Five labs, four countries
Research Intern / Master's Thesis
Designed and validated a MEMS-compatible photoacoustic CO₂ sensor across four resonator geometries, with COMSOL thermoviscous FEM and a lumped-element circuit model matched to within ±9% of simulation. Alongside the thesis: an acoustic black hole vibration-damping structure and an acoustic-agglomeration demonstration. Supervised by Ananya Srivastava.
Research Intern (unpaid, volunteer)
Characteristic-polynomial methods for wave propagation in granular chains, from Hertzian-contact solitons to rod-scale Pochhammer–Chree dynamics, chaos, and bifurcation. Supervised by Régis Cottereau. Published in Chaos, Solitons & Fractals.
Granular Metamaterials & MEMS Acoustic Imaging
Nonlinear vibration and MEMS acoustic-imaging lab work, run in parallel with the LMA internship above.
Electrical Labs & Instrumentation
Ultrasonic-transducer crack detection and building piezoelectric devices — the semester that decided this field for me.
Vibration, Porous Materials & Computational Modeling
Vibration analysis and computational modeling of porous acoustic materials.
Undergraduate Research & Honors
Published research on soliton solutions of nonlinear PDEs; six years teaching and organizing mathematics/physics olympiad programs.

From Hertzian Contact to Pochhammer–Chree Dynamics: Solitons, Chaos, and Bifurcation in Granular Metamaterials
Grew out of the 3-month LMA internship: wave propagation in granular chains, from Hertzian-contact solitons through to rod-scale Pochhammer–Chree dynamics, chaos, and bifurcation.
